PiggyThePimp. Launch SteamVR, in that little steamvr box that appears click the (I think) top left where it has the lines and click settings. In settings go to video and down a little bit click 'per application video settings' and select AC. Then you should see a switch that says motion smoothing and set it to disabled.
I found with Assetto Corsa the best thing to do was to use Restream io chat and then capture that window placing it near the wheel in game with 60% transparency. The program does have a few bugs and Steam VR can sometimes crash when using it , but so far I have done 4+ hours of streaming with Assetto Corsa and it has worked well. start AC like you would any normal steam game (double click assetto corsa in your games list) in the options find the resolution and set it to 'oculus early support' (or whatever it says) untick vsync (very important that one, it locks your rift to 60fps if you leave it checked) find a car and track of your choice and click 'drive' your rift I run Assetto Corsa (basic steam version) with my Q2 using Link and it works fine. I just connect with Link, get into the Rift home and select the virtual desktop. Then I use my PC mouse to select the AC shortcut and run it. The menu shows up and I go into the settings and make sure that the run mode is set to Oculus and select the race I want. Cote Dazur said: Yes VR in AC can be as good as it get. Better than anything else, but, it is not as easy as in racing games using the SMS engine. A little work is required. first of, you need latest CSP preview and proper weather effect PP. then you need to tweak until you are there. 2/22/21 4:21 p.m. Is anyone playing Assetto Corsa or ACC using VR? I have a Oculus Quest 2 and I cannot get the frame rate where I think that it should be. I am running it on a USB 3 cable that had a lot of good reviews on Amazon. I have played with all the settings many times. The Oculus settings, the VR Stream settings, changing settings on

Chris Racer. As it is now, VR users must map a button to both "look left" and "look right," and press them both to reset view in VR. VR users don't use "look left" or "look right," so those are wasted mappings in and among themselves. I use a Fanatec Universal Wheel hub, and I don't attach any more buttons to it than I have to.
Each of the following headsets is compatible with SteamVR which will allow you to play Assetto Corsa and most other sim racing games in VR. Those include: Valve Index; HTC Vive; Oculus Rift S; Samsung HMD Odyssey+; So let’s now have a look into each of these VR headsets in detail, starting with the Oculus Rift S. 1. Valve Index
Just be sure to start the ott first before starting the game. There is almost no visible difference between 1.5 and 2. So you better leave it at 1.5 and use the resources for higher settings in game. You will find however that ac is fairly easy on the gpu. Just be carefull with the post processing effects.
