3. Ford Model: 2006 Ford Focus Van 1.6 TDCi. UK/Ireland Location: Kilkenny. Posted November 14, 2012. Hi, new member here. I drive a 2006 Ford Focus van, 1.6 TDCi engine. Having some problems for the last 6 weeks or so. The revs dropped in the van while driving, and it eventually turned off. Similar to if the van had run out of fuel. Focus instrument cluster fault I've a focus estate 1.8 TDCI (03 plate) just clocked up 50000 miles last week. It went in yesterday (15/10/07) to a ford service centre, to sort out why the rev counter, digi display etc, have an intermittant fault. It's been diagnosed as a problem with the instrument cluster, at a cost of approx £350. I suppose that was my worry in that was there something that caused the ecu to fail. When the code reader was used, two codes came up -. P2110 throttle actuator fault. Engine systems failure with a misfire on no1and 4 cylinder. when the coil packs for 1 and 4 were swapped with 2 and 3, the fault stayed with 1 and 4. Posted October 24, 2019. After owning a Mk2 1.8 TDCi Focus for years prior, I have recently purchased a new Focus. It's a 2008 2.0 TDCi Titanium Estate on 100k miles. What attracted me to it was its condition and service history where up to 82k it has full Ford history under one owner. Unfortunately the last 18k (on owner number 2) is undocumented. They found nothing wrong at all. They performed a static regen on it, and it was all fine. For mine - they contacted Ford Tech Support.
Focus TDCi 115. Just taken our car to an alternative dealer (OMC Ford, Oldham). The car had an ECU update and now the accelerator is easier to judge and the overall drive is much smoother. OMC said as soon as they plugged the diagnostic equipment into the car, "urgent update required" showed on the screen.

I have recently taken my 2014 1.6 tdci to a tuner, they asked me to re-connect the battery after putting the ecu back in, after mapping. The car starts but runs very rough for a couple seconds and cuts out. Fault codes show - Faulty fuel injector driver within the PCM Could this be caused by conn
