Firstconnect red cable to the positive terminal of your C4’s dead battery, then to the positive terminal of donor battery. Next connect black cable to the negative terminal of donor battery, then to the bare metal in the engine bay of your C4. Start the donor vehicle and then your C4. Remove the cables in reverse order.

You may not normally need the glow plugs to start the engine on the 2.0 hdi, you don't on the 1.6 hdi either but I know mine started a whole load quicker with a set of working plugs.
