George R.R Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series (or the HBO show Game of Thrones) is all about alliances, betrayal, backstabbing and the cruel climb to the Iron Throne. Game of Thrones (Second Edition) strives to recreate that same feel on your tabletop. It doesn’t just trade on a known property hoping fans will foolishly buy it.
There are two kinds of reviewers of the A Game of Thrones: The Card Game Second Ed. (hereafter “2e”): returning players from the first edition (“1e”) and new players arriving to the game for the first time. I think it’s important to qualify that I am unapologetically the former. A Game of Thrones 1e is my favorite game of all time.

Jan 7, 2012. i think i have found 1 single difference on the map between the 2nd-edition map and the 1st-edition "Clash of Kings"-map: in the 2nd edition "Three Towers" and "Prince's Pass" are now connected by a land-border, while in the 1st edition, they were completely devided by a river and thus not connected.
