The Bad batch is basically the same thing but amplified and given a silly, but believable backstory (defective clones with particularly useful and effective defects). The over the top ridiculousness of characters juxtaposed to the darkest period in the franchise so far, is what I’m hoping will be the crux of what makes this show interesting.
