I'm looking to do an engine swap/conversion on my mk6 golf 1.6 tdi I want to put the mk6 2.0 GTD engine in (all manual) but unsure if I can do it or what I need to do to accommodate the swap any useful and helpful info on this subject would be much appreciated.

If you can afford the extra £30 per month, witrh the mileage you're doing I think the 2.0 will be worth it. If you like to get a move on, you will have to work the 1.6 harder to get reasonable performance, which will make it little if any less
